Mashed Rutabaga


Ingredients:


-  1 medium to large rutabaga

-  1 tbps. butter (more or less to your own taste)

-  Salt and pepper to taste

-  2 cloves or garlic, crushed or garlic powder to taste (optional)

Directions:

-  Peel rutabaga and cut into 1 inch cubes
-  Add rutabaga chunks to a medium pot and cover with cold water.
-  Bring to a boil and cook, 30 to 45 minutes, or until rutabaga is fork tender. Drain.
-  Mash rutabaga with remaining ingredients and enjoy!
